Mercer Island

Since the early 80’s, I’ve been giving private guitar and bass lessons in the the comfort and convenience of my home studio in the First Hill neighborhood on the north end of Mercer Island. Students who are Island residents get top quality music instruction without having to travel to Seattle or Bellevue. On the other hand, off-island students find Mercer Island’s central location a breeze to get to most hours of the day, especially since my studio is only a minute or two from the freeway. I teach here on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Renton

On Wednesday, I teach at A Sharp Music located at 204 SW 43rd St in Renton, just off Hwy 167 near IKEA. Owner Skip Edwards’ shop has new guitars and amplifiers for every budget and they specialize in premier instruments like Fender, PRS and Taylor. The teaching staff here is top notch and features some of the area’s most sought after instructors. I’m quite proud to offer lessons at A Sharp Music.

On Monday, I teach at Emerald City Guitars located at 83 South Wasington Street, in the heart of Pioneer Square. Here, owner Jay Boone operates Seattle’s premier vintage guitar shop. The whole staff makes everyone feel at home, and if you’re a fan of collectible guitars and amps (like me), you’ll feel like the proverbial kid in a candy store every time you come in. Take a lesson and try out your new licks on a ‘62 Fender Stratocaster! I’m very pleased to be on the teaching staff at Emerald City Guitars.
